A Bit Of Quicksilver For A Few Pennies....

Hullo Chaps! Interesting thing for you wallahs who spend all their hours on their Babbage Engines instead of out hunting grouse, three of the Quicksilver short stories by that wordsmith Green are available for some kind of portable Babbage book reader malarky (all very Heath Robinson what?). Not quite sure if my old grey matter understands what this paperless books stuff is all about but the stories included are the excellent Fruiting Bodies, the pivotal Vanishing Point and the barking White Rabbit.

Mutton Chop Miniatures

Lord Cirenchester
Paul Hicks has opened his own miniature company called Mutton Chop Miniatures.

From their announcement:

Mutton Chop Miniatures is the sculpting ramblings of Paul Hicks. It is a collection inspired by the spirit of the 1930s and Heath Robinson styled contraptions. You won’t find any large ranges of historical themed armies here. You will find figures that are full of character and great for skirmishing or adding flavour to a themed army.

Thanks for looking

Messing About On The Water

Was enjoying a glass of Pimms on the Thames the other day and as the waves lapped the hull and the heat beat down I almost came over all misty eyed recalling campaigns up the Limpopo against Sultan Dodjibotti and his slavers back in the day. Poor old Haversham... Harrumph!

Anyhow, thought you Little Wars chappies might be interested in these jolly little models of one of our sterling Royal Navy picket boats by some wallahs at an enterprise called Honourable Lead Boiler Suit Company. They also do a couple of Russkie boats which no doubt will sink very quickly. TTFN.
