Whats the humdrum about Chaps? Adventures into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk with ramblings about Aeronefs, Dirigibles, Land Ironclads, Anarchists, Dinosaur Hunting, Terranefs, Aquanefs, Mad Scientists, and all manner of electric contraptions and steam conveyances. It may not make sense, but there will be claret and a nice cheese board at the end. Tally-Ho and "VĂ´tre dans une sauce au vin blanc!"

WOTW by GASLIGHT
Giant (Reviresco) tripods smash through the English countryside, but the gunners of the Royal Artillery have set an ambush. Several are smashed down, their alien occupants splashed to oblivion!
Ulla! I've never seen these Martian tripod models before, not bad at all! Though the design on the cover of Jeff Wayne's musical album will always be my fave, I loved the angry red Martian in the cockpit of this version of fighting machine. Great reporting Tas!

ReplyDeleteThere are very nice, and the clear cockpit and traditional cephalopod martian is a great touch.
ReplyDeleteMr Wayne's will always be my favourite too, though there are some very nice period drawings from the first few editions I find quite inspiring too.
UUUUUULLLLLLLAAAAAAA!
