Dystopian Wars Mini Preview

Mark from "Conflict in Colour" has very kindly sent me these pics of new minis from Spartan Games's Dystopian Wars.  These are the British Carrier and Japanese Battleship, which he painted.  Good show old bean!

Neil from Spartan Games also informs me that these are pre-release models, which means they are made from sample resin, and not release quality.  Yes, that means the ones we will be able to buy will be even better!

Models are a bit Gothic/Steampunk for my taste, but boy, what great paint jobs! Excellent work- certainly nice to see some of their ideas in the flesh.

By Jove! Those are cracking good figures.

I know the missus shall learn of this, and think the lesser of it, but a few crowns must be spared for these most delightful creations.

Though you might like those Ken - some potential for a TWIW review eh?

As the painter, I hope that the metal parts are better cast in the production versions, as the definition is sadly lacking when compared to the resin.

It takes a LOT of work to paint them to the level that they deserve, but, as you can see, it's well worth the effort!
