Whats the humdrum about Chaps? Adventures into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk with ramblings about Aeronefs, Dirigibles, Land Ironclads, Anarchists, Dinosaur Hunting, Terranefs, Aquanefs, Mad Scientists, and all manner of electric contraptions and steam conveyances. It may not make sense, but there will be claret and a nice cheese board at the end. Tally-Ho and "VĂ´tre dans une sauce au vin blanc!"
Of course, at the time the 24th (2nd Warwickshire) Regiment was in a state of Cardwell-Childers transition - they didn't become the South Wales Borderers until 1881, when Men of Harlech became the regimental march so this was an anachronism. But it looked and sounded great!
Yeah, a classic scene from a classic movie. Always inspiring to watch, and fun to share also with my young son too. It's great introducing him to the old classics like this. And now Wargames Factory does what looks to be nice sets of the protagonists in plastic... a future project for me, me thinks...
I remember my dad taking me to see this I have watched it in his memory many times since his death and yes it still makes me shiver .it also took more money at the box office than goldfinger that was released at the same time

Absolutely, it made the hairs on my arms stand.
A favourite of mine. Love it.
Add March of Cambreadth to that list, too.

Love this version song, but I read someplace the movie lyrics to this song are unlike those in any other version.
