It was a big day for everyone... |
Whats the humdrum about Chaps? Adventures into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk with ramblings about Aeronefs, Dirigibles, Land Ironclads, Anarchists, Dinosaur Hunting, Terranefs, Aquanefs, Mad Scientists, and all manner of electric contraptions and steam conveyances. It may not make sense, but there will be claret and a nice cheese board at the end. Tally-Ho and "VĂ´tre dans une sauce au vin blanc!"

Regimental Mascot
In watching the Royal wedding this week I was quite taken by the splendid mascot of the Irish Guards - this magnificent Irish wolfhound, named Conmael. Impressively, this hound even has a medal!
And so it occurs to me that in building my next HQ unit, perhaps I need to add an appropriate mascot.

No wonder he was tired, that coat must have been bleeding heavy.
I have listed you for the viral "Stylish Blogger Award", details here:

I prefer the Welsh Guards Regiment's goat mascot, myself.
Is the Irish Wolfhound featured in the 1975 American Movie, Against a Crooked Sky? The dog's name in the movie is B'ar Killer (Bear Killer), although there isn't such a grizzly sceen. I've searched everywhere to locate an answer and hope you know! Thanks from avid trivial me.
