Actually, now I think of it they remind me a lot of GZG's New Swabian League ships from their Full Thrust Sci-Fi range.
Great job Eli!

Whats the humdrum about Chaps? Adventures into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk with ramblings about Aeronefs, Dirigibles, Land Ironclads, Anarchists, Dinosaur Hunting, Terranefs, Aquanefs, Mad Scientists, and all manner of electric contraptions and steam conveyances. It may not make sense, but there will be claret and a nice cheese board at the end. Tally-Ho and "VĂ´tre dans une sauce au vin blanc!"

So these're German then...) Good job Eli! This makes rethink my
Battlefeet Gothic stuff... they look like steel ram ships anyway, just need smoke stacks...)
Hi Eli, What an inspired idea - Well done sir! I am sure I have a shed load of balsa kicking around so I may well be tempted to have a crack myself. Intersting point by Dom re Battlefleet Gothic - a gaming chum of mine has an Imperial fleet painted in Royal Navy Victorian colours which looks really good and has been used for VSF on more than one occasion.
Funny thing about this fleet of mine. It's completely undefined politically. My group was kicking around the idea of creating our own VSF world. Sort of like Victorian sci-fi elseworlds.
It is true that I was/am a huge fan of the GZG NSL Stuff. And well, I do tend to gravitate toward all things German.
Well whatever the reason, they came out great Eli!
