Here are some pics from the first encounter, though he notes that it was a trial run and for that reason they used a white table cloth with squares marked off for movement.
More pics to follow...
Whats the humdrum about Chaps? Adventures into Victorian Science Fiction and Steampunk with ramblings about Aeronefs, Dirigibles, Land Ironclads, Anarchists, Dinosaur Hunting, Terranefs, Aquanefs, Mad Scientists, and all manner of electric contraptions and steam conveyances. It may not make sense, but there will be claret and a nice cheese board at the end. Tally-Ho and "VĂ´tre dans une sauce au vin blanc!"

I must confess that this idea was the work of a gaming chum of mine from my wargames club - South East Essex Military Society (SEEMS. Chris, the aforementioned chum, wanted to try out the rules and as we have a shed load of 28mm 19th century figures - plus some bits and pieces from Pax Limpopo it was quite easy to put together for a try out. The gridded cloth is now in the process of being painted so the next version will look a whole better. My own modest contribution was to take the pics - which i will be doing again next week when the club runs an Aeronef game. Sadly the Turks will not be present as they are still on working up exercises at a secret location somewhere deep in Anatolia...........
