The Photojournal of Surgeon Parks, RN

The Imperial War Museum now has wonderful online photos attributed to renowned Surgeon Oscar Parks taken during WW1.
He was a RN medical officer who became the editor of Jane's Fighting ships in the 20 and 30s).  These are just a few of my favourites.

Nice! On a related note, wy wife's grandfather served as a young medical orderly on the HMS Carnarvon and saw action at the Battle of the Falkland Islands in 1914. He kept a diary (strictly against naval regulations) which is now part of the collection of the McMaster University Library and Archives.
